Bass Drum of Death
I've recently discovered a two member garage rock band from Mississippi called Bass Drum of Death. I began to watch several live videos of the duo (John Barrett on guitar, Colin Sneed on drums) and not only fell in love with their up-beat music, but also their style. Who doesn't love a messy-haired musicians who's style couldn't be described as anything other than "I don't give a fuck"? These boys are true grunge.

Lucy In Disguise: A clothing line created by Lily Allen and sister Sarah Owen
Being a huge Lily Allen fan, I was extremely excited after hearing her and her sister created a clothing line. If anyone should create a fashion line, it should very well be Lily, the princess of pop. She has a brilliant sense of style, which I've looked-up to. Other supporters of Lucy In Disguise includes Karl Lagerfeld, legendary head designer and creative director of the fashion house Chanel.
What I love so much about this line is that it's affordable. More expensive than Walmart, but still very affordable! It also includes loads of gorgeous, to-die-for, vintage pieces!
This line is more than just a "celebrity line". These chicks know what they're doing, and I hope they keep the beautiful garments coming.

Lisa Varga Photography.
Self portrait Lisa Varga |
I met Lisa at a young age, back when she was a popular cheerleader and I was a dorky preteen. She would come over to my cousin Holly's house and teach us both cheer routines. I must say, I thought she was pretty fucking rad.
My thoughts of her have not changed. What has changed is that she is no longer that high school cheerleader, but is now a successful photographer. Her work has been featured in Sandbox Magazine and The Uniter. Her work gets more, and more gorgeous everytime I see it. I would describe her photography as intimate and beautiful, as her shoots normally include close friends. I've had the chance to be in a shoot of her's with the same cousin who I'd learn cheerleading with. I haven't posted pictures of the shoot, for one reason - my hair was at an awkward growing stage.
How about another shoot, girl?
